Chiropractic / Active Release Technique

Chiropractic care is based on the foundation that joints and their alignment are the foundation for the function of muscles and other tissues in the body.  Adjustements or manipulation of the joints when they are misaligned helps to restore normal function.

AESM's chiropractors do not only practice traditional adjustment-based chiropractic.  They also utilize acupuncture, manual therapy techniques, and other skills to the treatment of their patients.

Active Release Technique is a manual therapy technique based on the principle of moving the muscles while manually treating tension in the muscle.  This is a powerful technique, and is one of the mainstays of chiropractic treatment at AESM.
