AESM Athletic Therapist Tanya Dei Tigli will be the therapist travelling with Canada's National Figure Skating Team to the Four Continents Figure Skating Championships, to be held from Jan 25 to Jan 31 in Jeonju, South Korea. Tanya is proud to be representing AESM and Canada at this International Championship....

AESM is now the official Canadian health care team for the Minnesota Swarm. The Swarm play professional indoor lacrosse in the NLL (the National Lacrosse League), playing against such teams as the Toronto Rock.  AESM will be providing preseason physicals as well as ongoing care for injured players throughout the season.  Tanya Dei Tigli, our Athletic Therapist, and Dr. Grant Lum, our medical director, are the primary professionals involved....

Tanya is an Athletic Therapist, having worked with such pro teams as the Montreal Impact Soccer Club.  She has also completed 5 years of Osteopathic training, and is currently doing her final research project towards completion of her certification.  She has great expertise in treating complex, multijoint issues.Tanya is working with Dr. Lum as a consultant to the Minnesota Swarm Lacrosse Team, in the National Lacrosse League....

AESM welcomes Pam Honeyman to the team at AESM downtown.  Pam is a 15 year veteran of the physiotherapy clinical world, with a wide range of skills including acupuncture and manual therapy.  She specializes in complex conditions requiring the diagnostic skills of a seasoned professional.  Pam is an avid tennis player and golfer.  She will be available Tuesdays and Thursdays....

AESM welcomes Sonya Booker, registered dietitian and nutritionist.  Sonya has spent the last several years of her career counseling patients on weight loss, reducing high blood pressure, lowering cholesterol and managing diabetes.  She has also helped athletes achieve better performance through nutrition.  Sonya is our second nutritionist on staff, and will be available for appointments on Tuesdays and Thursdays.  Sonya also offers a package including a guided shopping trip at the grocery store, to help you make healthier choices....

AESM is proud to announce the addition of another team member.  Nancy Laythorpe is a registered massage therapist who comes to us with years of experience in treating various orthopedic conditions.  She is an avid runner, and has a wealth of knowledge managing running-related injuries.  Nancy is at our downtown location Mondays and Fridays....

AESM volunteered at the Father's Day Walk/Run for Prostate Cancer.  Dr. Rosty Serebryany helped runners and walkers with their post-race pains, all in support of research efforts to help cure prostate cancer. AESM is pleased to announce the addition of 2 new staff members:Dr. Steve Dilkas is an FRCP Physiatrist who will doing primary care and consultation sports medicine.  Dr. Dilkas was the recipient of the University of Toronto Division of Physiatry Research Award.  He has published several papers in peer-reviewed journals, and has also acted as chapter editor to numerous book chapters.  He will be seeing sports medicine patients at our downtown location either with our without a referral.Ashlea Wilson is a Physiotherapist who has a special interest in manual therapy and orthopedics.  She was the recipient of a graduation award given to...
